These Big Bore kits are very simple to install and require no special machining or rebalancing of the connecting rod.
Kits include pistons, rings, cylinders, cylinder base and head gaskets, cams and tappets.
S&S claims an 80 percent horsepower increase for a stock 883.
Combined with an S&S open filter and performance exhausts you can get up to 85 horsepower.
These kits use the stock headers, pushrods and fuel system and are available in a black or silver finish to match the stock.
Note: 1250 kits cannot be used with XL 883 heads.
S&S bolt-on cams and upgraded tappets allow for maximum displacement
Cams feature 482” lift, 240° intake duration and 234° exhaust duration
Compression ratio: 9.6:1 for 1200 cc kits and 11.2:1 for 1250 cc kits
