Requires deactivation of the second downstream O2 sensor on EU models.
For 2021-later EU Softail/Touring models, the O2 sensor eliminator plug is required (see accessories).
Technical Tip: Pre-2021 US mufflers on a 2021-later EU Softail/Touring? 2021-later US models only have two O2 sensors in the headers. 2021-later EU models (Euro 5/Euro 5+ system) have a total of 3 or 4 O2 sensors, including 1 or 2 downstream in the muffler(s) or in the cross-section balance pipe. Therefore, 2021-2025 US exhaust systems will not fit 2021-2026 European models. The O2 sensor eliminator plug (see accessories) allows you to disable the third downstream muffler O2 sensor without triggering fault codes. This will allow you to use pre-2021 US or European exhaust mufflers that do not have a downstream O2 sensor connection.
