If you are a light rider with a light passenger, STD Duty is probably the best choice with better comfort, Heavy Duty shocks will give you a harsh ride.
For a rider and passenger with a lot of luggage, Heavy Duty springs are the way to go. Heavy Duty is not better, it is different.
We recommend using Heavy Duty shocks or springs on motorcycles that are operated at or near the manufacturer's maximum load rating more than 50% of the time.
