A spring with a progressive suspension speed has the advantage of increasing the compressive strength
The advantage is that the spring can be quite soft at the beginning of the journey to offer a "luxurious" ride, but solid enough at the end of the trip to absorb the big shocks
The springs have been designed to reduce front-end diving during braking, but still offer excellent driving comfort
