The latest Sportsters models with forward controls such as XL1200C (Custom) X (Forty-Eight) and V (Seventy-Two) are equipped with a different style driver footplate, which does not accept the normal male H-D mount driver footplate.
This conversion kit allows you to reuse all standard H-D style driver footboards so that all custom footboards fit.
