Replica Roadster gas tank features steel construction. Tank comes with a stock filler neck and left side fuel line fitting. Fuel capacity is 4.5 gallons for EFI models.
The fuel pump door requires the use of 10-32 UNF X 3/4" long Panhead machine screws, which are not supplied, to install the fuel pump. Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting. The tank requires sanding and primer before painting. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean, condition and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion.
